  2. Hi Mark, Welcome to the forum. Even though we are not in the UK in are across the water in Ireland. We manufacture Moulds,Press Tools, Tooling etc. We have MasterCam Wire, Mill level 3 and Design. This forum is great and you will find it very helpfull to you. I am not an expert on MasterCam but there are a load of people who are and give up there time to help you as much as they can.   4. Thanks CadCam. I tightened up the tolerance and it worked fine.
  5. Hi there. I am milling a circular cavity. I used surface finish countour but it left my wall with flats all the way around. It seams that it took my surface and broke it into points and milled point to point. The cut tolerance was .025mm. If i reduce this value will it mill my wall a true circle. Thanks for any help
  6. I have a file uploaded a few week ago on to CADCAM's FTP for calculating speeds and feeds. Its in the unspecified folder and the file name is milling cutters speeds and feeds. It is an excel file. Hope this helps you, Brendan [ 09-16-2002, 12:17 PM: Message edited by: ruffmut ]

  8. I have uploaded a file to Cadcams FTP. It is in the unspecified_uploads folder. Cadcams ftp unspecified folder The file is an excel file and called milling cutters speeds and feeds.   16. Jay. I have no problems with FTP. Been in today and I am using Explorer 6
  17. The Drawing I have was created on CAD but seems to have gone missing and is not available on CAD any more
  18. I need to machine a cam from a drawing. Is there any c-hook or software compatible with mastercam to create it. I have been given a number of points but i cannot use a spline as i have been told this will not be accurate enough. Thanks in advance.

  21. No. Over here in Ireland business is still very bad. Any industry in Computers, electronics and mobile phones is suffering. My biggest customer have just announced thst they are pulling out of the country and are sending their equipment to the far east. This is 60-70% of my business gone. Fingers crossed that this will all change in the next few months but i can't see this happening till the start of next year at least.
  22. chris I noticed the same problem. Everything was ok until i changed from rectangle stock to round. When i changed back the stock size in verify is far too big. I thought it was just me so maybe there is a bug.

  25. I was supposed to have been off last week and this week, but had to cancel them to finish a project. They were cancelled by my boss who was on holidays himself in spain.
