  1. It's an Ecoca MC-208. I have tried all the empty M codes in the manufacturers book and nothing happens. Bugger! Bruce
  2. Surface blend sounds like what you are after, but at the end of the day how are you making money stuffing around on something like this in the hope that when it is done they will pay half what it is worth?? Customers Bruce
  3. Ahoy! Anyone know the M code to unlock and lock the tailstock for towing? Bruce
  4. Use vacuum if you can and alternate cuts on each side. Bruce
  5. This is for a new machine, so I will start again from scratch with an MPmaster. Bruce
  6. I was hoping no-one would say that I'll have a look again after the weekend. Bruce
  7. Ahoy! I posted this in the off topic section by mistake. I have searched and read up on a couple of threads related to this, but my post does not have the phsmon and phsmoff blocks. I am also a little hampered by an 18 month "holiday" from MC so the limited post tweaking abilities I did have are all but gone. I have put: code: if mi4$=1, n$, "G05.1 P1", e$ !mi4 in Psof$ and have setup mi4 as needed. This is working great to turn it on, but I am having trouble with the placement of: code: if mi4$=1, n$, "G05.1 P0", e$ !mi4 in the correct place. I want it on the line before the Z retract at the end of the op, but cannot for the life of me find the correct spot. I also know I will need to do some logic to check previous value for mi4, but will try and plod through that myself before asking. [big Grin] Any help appreciated. Bruce
  8. Sorry, no chance unless you are asked to be a tester and then jump through the hoops. Bruce
  9. DOH! I didn't hit send! On the way now. Bruce
  10. Ahoy! is there anyone that can help me get a good MC file from a customers logo that I have? I tried the free wintopo and didn't have much luck. thanks Bruce
  11. To avoid a headache using macros, just do your form somewhere else in the sheet and link the cells to where you want them. Bruce
  12. The lack of this feature in MC is quite embarrassing really. Bruce
  13. Bugger! My trial SIM just expired and the new codes aren't due until monday/tuesday. DOH!!
  14. Greg, Just got it, I'll have a look in the morning. Bruce
  15. Robert, Is there any way to pick which cell it goes to? At the moment the output is dumped on the left of the sheet and I have my setup sheet further over to the right linking the values that I need. Currently I need to scroll to the left and drag the screenshot over to the right where I want it, but in older X+ versions I could control exactly where it landed just by whatever cell was highlighted when saving the XLT. Bruce
  16. I have seen this before, but can't remember what I was doing wrong. Any chance you can send the file? Bruce
  17. Ahoy! I am trying to reproduce the setup sheet I used to use now that I have a seat of my own again. Only thing is I am now using office2007 and an X+ version a couple of versions ahead of where I was, so I am having a bit of trouble with the placement of the screenshot. Previously the screenshot was placed wherever the acive cell was when the excel template was saved. Now it is always outputting in the same place no matter where the active cell is when saving. Is this an excel2k7 thing? Bruce
  18. That is the line that is outputting. I have put a ! in front of the second tloffno$ to stop it from outputting when using wear or control. If I remove the line completely I get D# on every line regardless. I am thinking I may need to add some logic to the motion output sections ? I'll z2g a dummy file and send it your way Ron. thanks Bruce
  19. :GROAN: Everything is working fine when using wear or control comp, but when using computer I am getting the D#501 on every line again!! Bruce
  20. I found that I started not using the pre-configured interfaces and just stuck with the advanced interface for everything. There are more options for tweaks that way. Bruce
  21. Just remember that you only have half the effective teeth for feedrate calculation if you use staggered tooth. I have used AB tools staggered tooth on ally before and they worked a treat. Bruce
  22. GOT IT!! I was missing a ! on the second tloffno$ Thanks for the offer Ron. Bruce
  23. Ron, I tried that and what I end up with is D#501 on every line. Bruce
