HiJack,,Hi all I use Mastercam , I draw few assemblies. Jack I did the exercise, no problems came up. So I'm thinking I missed some part of the lesson. The only odd think I could find on the drawing was that the dotted line(phantom line)to show the intersecting of undercut walls didn't line up with the .125 fillet(partial fillet) with the pitorial of the 75 degree angle . I use WinTopo Freeware I learned of it from Rekd in an earlier thread. If you can search for that thread you can find the link to the WinTop sight. this will give an imediate simple solution to what you ask for, but cleaning up the file may be to laybor intensive for some folks. Can Mastercam be used to create punch tapes?

Hi Once we had some mills from Sharnoa in early 1980 something that ran tape. then they were converted to read an exec. tape that allowed the machine to read computer code from the rs232. I remember useing tape, and I remember haveing Mastercam at the same time..But I don't beleave Mastercam ever made tape programs. (at least mine didn't) -
