Well just before we go;;;;; I really liked NFRANCO's MR. Post.

We bought a big boreing bar, and its mount for our lathe. Then we cut a knoch in the end and put in set screws. This alows several store bought tools to fit,,,and you can adjust the depth by moveing the tool. Our cuts are 12.5 deep 1.625 step.

Hi Gregg Usually there will be a plaque rivited on the back of the machine with a pictorial and your machine specfic dementions engraved on it. Then the 1"I.D. thread or MM I.D. depending on what holders you buy .
