Does anybody know of a hss endmill that pushes thin material down onto the table instead of lifting it up while it is cutting.I thought there was a cutter to do this, but maybe i am just losing my mind. Material is 1/16 alum. With a pocket .04 deep.
could someone help me set my hurco post to post subprograms.I use tansform to machine on three different vises.but when i post there are no subs so it just stays on vise #1.it will post the operation 3 times but there is no option to change locations.
John
Could you tell how to do this. When I use transform it completes the first part, then goes to the second part and completes that one.I am just trying to cut down on tool changes.
thanks Shawn
I have a simple question,if I setup up 2 or 3 vises on a hurco vm1 and want to machine the same part on each vise, but want to face each part with tool 1 then change tools and machine each part with that tool, and so on.do I need a post that supports that or can I do that with transform.
We are looking to purchase a new computer system to run Mastercam exclusively and the only computers that I have been able to find have the Radeon ATI video card. Has anyone had trouble running Mastercam with this video card on a Notebook computer?
I have been advised that the NVidea is the way to go. - Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated?
Thanks
Jimmy i am using cimco edit to send the program.
I checked to make sure the parity is the same as the machine and they match.I just don't know why i can recieve and not send.
I am trying to send programs to a VDF lathe and I keep getting parity errors. I can receive programs from the lathe to computer but cannot send back. The control is a Siemens Sinumerik Control.
Does anyone know of any solutions to this problem?
I was wondering if anyone knows of any patches to fix this problem that I am having with MC9. I am running Windows XP and since I have installed it I have had nothing but problems with Mastercam - we have changed the graphics from an ATI but the problem is still happening. When I leave the computer for a few minutes it freezes up and I have to reboot - thereby loosing all my information. Has anyone got any solutions to this problem?
Thanks
