Ok this is weird. What I need to do is create a bunch of planes for different A axis positions and what I normally would do is go to planes rotate and type in my angle and it would create the new plane for me. What is the process to do that in 2019?
Hey Colin. I asked this over at eApprentice.net last week but nobody has gotten back to me. I also tried to PM this to you but looks like you cant get PM's or something. Would it be possible to pay for you course in 2 payments of $250 on the 3rd and and 17th? I really would like to take this course but this might be the only way I can make it happen. Anyways let me know. Thanks!
Oh I'm good. I've been programming for about 22 years now. Getting things pieced together because a cheap boss wont buy the proper post is my specialty, Lol! Unfortunately in Houston right now shops like the one I'm at and the one that is asking me for help have been hit pretty hard the last 2 years with the price of oil so spending the money to get a proper post just ain't gonna happen. Hell I'm lucky to get 35 hours right now.
Colin on post #6 I asked you a question and it seems like you either missed it or ignored it. Not sure why. Sorry if I have somehow asked a question I shouldn't have or whatever but I would appreciate it if you could give me an answer.
I just need the base code to be correct and I would hand edit everything else. That's what I had to do with the Multus we have for a few months before they finally bought me a post. I just need to get to get that generic post to output A and B, not B and C. I'm just trying to find a temporary solution because spending 3K on a post isn't viable for this project.
Is this something that would be fairly easy. I'm no post guru by any means but can do a few small edits. I've got someone with a Mazak Integrex asking me if I can help out with some programs and I'm hoping that I can get this done.
That code cant be all that bad. It probably just 2 streams with wait codes and a code to make it follow the right tool. I know our post guy here in Houston could put something together for it. Now again your not gonna get a full simulation but if your good its not needed.
Wow that looked cool the way the second spindle followed the tool. What about Mastercam millturn? It should do that I think. Right now I'm just using regular mastercam and programming an Okuma multus. I obviously don't get a full simulation but I'm cool with that. Esprit would probably be the be3st choice if you want full simulation.
