I have somehow changed my operation manager back ground color to a very dark grey and I have also noticed the textfont size became very small. How do I change it back to white (default)?
Thanks
The problem is a problem with quality on the sketches. when the sketches get detailed and small they look like s...! (jagged edges and circles that are not crisp. Just looking to see what else is out there.
Thanks
Thanks for the SetupX+X2MR1
MUCH APPRECIATED!!
It works pretty cool but it still has the same quality as the clipboard. (jagged edges and circles that are not crisp). I tried it both in clipboard mode and x.png file with similar results.
Is there something out there that works like the screen plot in V9 that created the t.plt file after it was scaled to your liking.
Thanks
Hello,
Is there a better way to copy the screen image to paste on an operation sheet?
The way I do it now is I have to change the back ground color to white, then, screen, copy screen image to clipboard, then past to my word perfect operation sheet.
The problems are that this repetative step of changing the back ground color from blue/black to white then back and the image that is coppied is of very poor quality after the paste (jagged edges, circles not crisp, etc.)
I have also tried the HPGL/2 print to file. Word perfect and Word do NOT accept this format.
The old V9 worked with screen, plot which created a HPGL (t.plt) file.
What works or options do I have with Mastercam X2
Thanks
I mean the verify inside of mastercam. I see bad digs and see no problem in backplot and in the posted program. I looks reall bad on the verify screen.
I was wondering if anyone has had graphic issues with verify for milling?
I see changes in cut surfaces when I generate an OD square that has large corner radii. It seems to have digs when the direction changes. When I check it in backplot and the posted program it looks good.
Any ideas
Thanks
Thanks, I do have "use stock on". I am also using the "ref points". Just was wondering if there is something in the post so I don't have to bother(forget) with the ref points.
Thanks
I am drilling a hole using a new lathe post. The output reads a z- then goes home. Is there a switch in the post to come out of the hole first or do I need to add "ref. points" with ALL drilling?
Thanks
Raster to vector works but comes in pretty bad. Was told that this is basically for mastercam art. I tried it a few weeks ago with minimal results.
You can try scan2cad. It is free to try (7 days). Just search for scan2cad. The company is in Enland. After the 7 days it is still a working program it just disables the OCR gets disabled. We use it here and it an OK program.
Enjoy
Also, it does work when you create a NEW operation. An old (prior to making change) needs to be manually set by clicking on tool!!
It took a while but got it figured out.
Thanks guys, much appreciated
Thanks Matt, I did that and it still doesn't show, could it be that it needs time to update? I remember when I put it on it took about a day to even show up.
Thanks much
I think I found the problem.
When you go into the operation manager, open the parameters of that tool, click the tool and THEN the diameter offset changes. I guess this is a bug. I could have changed it there right from the get-go. Or has it been fixed on service pack 1??????
I didn't do it through the operations manager.
I have tried it again, I even tried to do it to the length offset, and that also did not change it.
Could it be that it is a post brought over from V9. Yes I did use the c-hook to convert?
Guys, thanks but I tried that and there was no change. Am I doing something wrong here?
It seems to still read the info from the tool data from the tool.
Thanks
Is there a way inside of a milling post to change the output for the CDC?
Instead of T01 having G41 D01, can the post be modified to output G41 D31?
Thanks
Cadmonster66,,,
Hey there John, Thanks for response, Not sure if what I did is the solution, but it seems to be working.
