  2. Lap mode is a single line(s) of code, usually the finished pass. The Okuma controller calculates the roughing passes according to your D (depth of cut) and the W (stock to leave on Z) and U (stock to leave on diameter) Hope this helps Our shop people like the Lap mode as you can control the depth of cut at the machine instead of reposting.

  5. You need the pro-e converter for mastercam. Couldn't you make a solid from surfaces. Mastercam has that capability.

  8. I now have a new PC. About two weeks ago I was in line for a new pc from the IT dept. Got the new pc set, forgot to get some files from the old pc, booted it. DEAD. hard drive died, mother board unresponsive etc.. well I guess they all gotta die sooner or later. Sorry...... R.I.P. pc

  17. REMEMBERED Thanks, after a lot of trial and error, I remebered the password and created an off line (disk) file that keeps all passwords readily available. I guess the mind is going a little it just tool 2 days to remember, lol!! Thanks
  18. I agree with CNC Apps Guy, seen this many times, it's just a controller problem and the only fix is to slow it down.
  19. No originals, I guess I'll just do a save as..... and delete then password protected ones. I haven't tried it as of yet so I hope that works and does not take the password with it. Thanks
