  1. I get the collision on ALL approach moves. Our guys like the Okuma canned cycle. Depth of cut, amount to leave, etc. can be adjusted on the floor instead of reposting. The main problem is the tool tapis into the part then the g1. If you look at the diameter behing the large collar diameter it rapids quite a bit into the piece. (not to cool with 13-8 heat treated).
  2. Randy, I put it on the FTP site in the lathes directory with file name LU25-337.MCX I have also tried what you decribed above with no good reslts.
  3. I changed the rapid moves to .100 and visually there is no change and I still get the collision.
  4. I have placed a file (LU25-337.mcx) onto the FTP site in the lathe directory. I would have added a link, but don't know how. Thanks
  5. I have also tried the extend contour length. This works with no problem with regular lathe rough turn. The issue is with the canned rough. It seems like the leadins aren't working correctly in the lathe rough canned.
  6. I have tried that, it still move in rapid
  7. Is there a way to get MC to output feedrate instead of rapid approach into the material in rough canned. I get a tool collision with stock alarm. I know you can adjust it in regular rough but I can't seem to find it in the canned rough. Thanks
  8. I usually add the ref. points also. Like a Z1. then the Z.1 prior to feed rate
  9. Hope its changed soon, I also was told of this change
  10. I have found the same problem, if you turn on the "extend contour to stock" the problem goes away. You do need to define your stock for this to work.
  11. Cool! I'll have to give it a try. Hope it works.
  12. is it displaying the holder
  13. Move the slide to macine quickly
  14. Is there a way to permanently change the max spindle speed for lathe? Thanks
  15. Thanks Thank Mr Mori's guys for vagueness
  16. Enlighten us. I looked but didn't see anything
  17. I know in MC the blank gets put on that level so they are easy to find
  18. Can someone explain how "screen", "hide entity" works. I thought that after clickin "hide entity" then click a line that line should hide. It seems to work in reverse or am I not understanding this the right way.
  19. Thanks Bryan, I don't know why but I must have been blind earlier. I just didn't see it. Thanks again
