I've been running a Fadal 4020, 88HS control for a while now and I'm programming these parts that have anywhere from 20 to 100 holes in a bolt pattern. I've been using mastercam for any other geometry on the part and for the holes I hand program a canned cycle and give it an incremental value for the A axis and how many times I want it to index. Is there a way to have mastercam spit out the canned cycle with the L value instead of using transform toolpath? My main goal with this is to keep the program size down and save time from typing it out every time. Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I used solid selection and CTRL to select all holes with the same Radius. I then changed the spot drills depth in linking parameters to get the correct size countersink but holes that are modeled deeper always make the spot go deeper as well. How do you control depth seperate from the modeled solid depth?

Hi I'm trying to use the hole axis button so I can use that to drill holes on the outside of the part on a 5 axis. But for some reason it drills from the inside and than it goes to the outside. I have tried to select just the points, points and lines, lines, .... The only way I can get it to work is to make my clearance in Linking a minus number. Is that normal? Thanks in advance
