simulation settings

I'm using 2023 and the simulation basically ignores all the view settings I've tried 

The views don't sync between mastercam and simulation

The workpiece moves all over the place even though I set focus to workpiece

and the view flips 180 degrees every time a new operation begins

I turn off sync views that drives me up the wall. Try disabling that and see if that helps.

Okay now we start down the technical side of the process. What are the system specifications? What are your NVIDIA control setting set to? Has the onboard video card been disabled? Has the Mastercam 2023 folder in program files been given full admin rights to your user account?

It sounds like if I answer those four questions there's forty more in the chamber

System info below, but what NVIDIA settings... all of them?

Is there a tutorial or training course for this, or should I go for a computer science degree?

First download the newest drivers on nvidia.com , these drivers are a few years old.

Thanks Simon, but that had no effect

After searching for and installing the driver, then re-starting windows and letting it install other updates,

The same behavior in the video above is still present

Your video card is barely entry level for a modern computer

It's 14 year old technolgy, but even so, Machine Sim should run properly

Try this

Once Machine Sim or Verify is launched, click Files/Options

and check  Always use 5-axis engine
