In process stock model

I'm having trouble creating stock models for in process stock in M-CAM 2017 I've been searching youtube and this forum and I must be missing something because my stock model for op 2 is always in the wrong orientation.

Plane created and set as active WCS

First OP stock setup is set to this plane

STL export set to current WCS in the system configuration

When I create a new machine group, set the stock plane to the same used in the first op, and select the STL file, the stock comes in at 90* to were it should be and does not originate from my set origin. I tried creating a pmesh of the stock model and referencing that as well but i am unable to select it. What am I missing? I'm coming from primarily programming in Fusion and it's been years since I touched M-CAM, I seem to be able to make it work in my 2024 demo version but I'm stumped with the 2017

Here are two videos that go in-depth on how to utilize in-process stock models and how to set up the planes to move between Op setups, machines, vises, etc:

Tl;dw:   uncheck the "stock plane" checkbox, on the Stock Model > Stock Definition page.  It will only cause pain and misery 99% of the time and should be off by default...
