hello,

I was looking for some tips regarding personalizing my tool library. We do most of our work for the Honda so 80% of my programing is metric frown.gif . How do I put say a 1/2 endmill in my library then use it when programing in metric. I read a post regarding tapping in metric and did not understand how to put a metric tap in the library then import it to an imperial program. How would you recommend I get the full benifits from my tool library.

Bassman I did it the Inch way with Metric. I found the Threads per inch for each Metric tap then defined them according to that. So a 1.0mm pitch is a 25.4 thread in english. I have also created a tapdrill libary with all the Metric and IUnch with the Cut and Roll tap drill sizes only in that Libary. Still have some work but almost done. I have the decription of what it is then the size. Cool thing is when I post it using MPMASTER modified post I get a 100% idea what tool I have called and I am suing in the program no guess no wondering and done.
