Split screen

Hi Guys

Do any of you Windows Gurus know how to split the screen to show two open pieces of software

(actually I have MC open twice and I would like to compare the two.)

I was told I could do this but I'm not really sure if its possible.

I just minimize the scren then fit the 2 on it dont

know if is the right way but it works.

Only one person can use the PC at a time so I don't see why not.

yes you can open multi sesions of my on the same box fully legal,

 

As for Threept82 as was stated on the first reply use the option to min the two windows then move them for best fit.

task manager

 

click on the app tab

 

highlight the apps you want to view

 

click windows on the menu of the task manager

 

select tile vert or tile horiz or what ever you like.

 

I use this all the time. A few more steps than manual resizing but I get them of equal size.

Travis. I figured out how to do it, try it

this way, its a little easier.

While in mastercam, open mastercam again. you will only see 1 mastercam at a time. now bring your mouse down to the pop up tool bar (lowwer right side of screen) and in that tool bar field, right click & pick "tile windows vertically". now both mastercams will be showing side by side.

You can now go back and forth into each program and work on them.

Keep ctrl down, select the tow mastercam from the toolbar

Right click on one of them

select Tile Vertically or Horizontally

Yea if you have two monitors and a nice vid card you can do this nice. On just one monitor, you're kinda squeezing em both in there and its hard to compare any two windows.

 

Dual screen you can have one MasterCAM running on one monitor, and another full screen on the other.

 

Unfortunately we don't have that but itd be damn cool

I agree Trick Vid Card and 2 monitors is the way to go,,

 

We started using 2 monitors about a year ago good upgrade,,
