Making a post from scratch would be a very daunting task indeed!

It would be better (and easier to learn how things work) to use an existing post and start changing things that are easy, and keep plugging away doing more and more difficult things.

Any experience in any other programming language would be a big help, but is not manditory.

Contact your dealer for the post CD.

And bookmark this site, it's the best help you'll find anywhere. cheers.gif

Here's a quick one then.

There probly isn't enough info here for you guys to work with so if you need more just ask kuz I have no clue!

When I post any NCI file the numbers in my NC file never have preceding "0" ( .1255)

What I need is ( 0.1255) because my fanuc controle automaticaly outputs a preceding "0"

and won't search for anything that doesn't have it...

Any takers?

hey connarmac,

I'll probably forget to ask you later so

what did that book look like? was it a basic

mc book that included posts or was it posts

exclusively? the reason I ask is that I have a

book out in my garage somewhere in a box that

I've been meaning to dig up. however, I seem to

remember there was mostly instruction in creating

geometry.
