NVidia GeForce 2MX 32Mb

I got rid of my radion 64 meg card to buy an NVIDIA geforce3x 64 meg card, and now I'm having problems with my geometry turning to crap ('scuse my language). Sometimes my part looks like I created it using hidden lines. I try repaint, screen regen, and nothing helps. If I exit, then reopen the file all is ok.

I don't want to start another mile long thing, but it seems to me that NVIDIA is a bad choice for mcam users!!

Respectfully,

Mike R.

I used to have problems with nVidia chipset cards, but found that the solution was to use the nVidia reference drivers rather than those supplied with the computer, this is particularly true with Dell computers, and as a matter of course I now always replace Dell drivers with the nVidia reference drivers and have not had a problem since

Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to play with any of the GeForce3s yet frown.gif Hopefully, one of those will replace my GeForce 256 on my home system one day.

As far as performacnce goes, the GeForce3 greatly improves upon the GeForce2; go to nVidia's site and dare to compare the specs biggrin.gif

Will it work with Mastercam? I don't see why not. The GeForce3s use the same drivers as the other GeForce cards as well as the TNTs. You definitely should see a performace gain. But since I don't think Mastercam was developed with any of nVidia's proprietary extensions in any graphics routines like shading, translating rotating, etc..., you probably won't see anything fancy in Mastercam like you'll find in any demos that nVidia releases.
