Copying geometry between layers?

Anyone know how I can copy geometry between different layers in V 9.1? Thanks

Im sorry I meant to say between different levels...

Make active the level you want the geometry to go to.

Translate your geometry rectangularly by 0 and turn on use constuction attributes.

I am at home but I think it is Screen, Change levels, select copy or move and the level you want to copy to. Then you get to select the geo and click done.

Screen >> Change levels >> pick move or copy >> uncheck main level >> click the select button and then choose the layer you want to send the geometry >> click OK

 

If all the info is correct copy or move and the level click OK.

 

Pick your geometry, window, select, chain, however you want. After it is complete click done.

Alright just figured it out, thanks for everyones help..

In X I put the change level icon on my toolbar to make this easier to do.

Crazy,Just a tip, In X right mouse click on the level.

DavidB does it the way that I like to do it. In fact, all attributes in X (Level, color, line style, line thickness) can be changed by first pre-selecting the geometry and then right-clicking on the appropriate attribute that you want to change (in the bottom prompt area).

 

I think it's the quickest and easiest way to change attributes.

In v9 I use the keyboard S V = Screen, Change Level select entitys,move or copy.
