add on live tooling lathe

Anyone know where, or if, I can get an add on, toolholder style, live spindle for drilling small holes on a lathe, (haas sl-20) .156 Dia.

I'm not having any luck on Google

Pneumatic would work, but I'm not sure if his control will orient the spindle at the specified deg. anyway.

There is on some lathes (with live tooling) an option for orientating at an angle usually M?? S(angle) and those style machines only index at 7.5 or 15 deg. depending on the option purchased. Modern machines like the SL-20 mentioned use a full C axis but only if the machine came with live tooling. Why put a C axis on a lathe with no live tooling?

Its a moot point, he doesn't have the spindle orient function add on.

If he did, it would be M19 P45. for 45 deg. angle,

You can also use R for up to 4 decimal places.

He just needed to put a small hole in the front of the part, on the face.

Thanx for the replies.

We have one turned part that gets a .0955 hole in the face. We have to put it in the mill just for that hole. we looked at two options for adding a live drill to the lathe.

The first was from

http://www.eltool.com/

They have coolant driven drill heads, the only downside is you need 1000psi coolant pressure to make any drilling power.

The second was from http://www.airturbinetools.com/

We have one of these on our mill that we use for engraving - 50000 rpm, not much power though. Only enough to drill small holes.

Both options were decided to be too expensive for the limited uses in the lathe.
