Ahhh...Mastercam X2 solid face to face fillet problem...

No matter what I seem to try I cant seem to get create a fillet located here...

I've tried everything i can think of...could someone explain to me what i might be doing wrong...

 

i keep getting this error...and its annoying the crap out of me.

thanks a bunch...im sure my solids are okay...

 

i just dont know what i could be doing wrong. im new to MCX2...

also check to see if you will lose any edges as the fillet blends, it looks like you will lose the outer edge of the part (top left corner)when the fillet generates. in these situations i have exported model to Solidworks generated the blend there and then imported back to MCAM.

Does the radius of the Boss match the Radius of the Diamond? If the radius of the diamond is just a little bigger of they are not on the same center then you will have probem as well. Edge would be your best bet, but what has been suggested to make it the chop off what you do not need will work just as good.
