"In X2 MR2, we will have dock-able toolbars which may solve this problem. The Ops Mgr will be dock-able to the other screen and Mastercam will understand where everything is."

I just want X2 mr1 to fix the current problems before we get more bells and whistles in X2 mr2: verify will not do large pieces complete with multiple ops, my tool manager goes crazy sometimes and unless ALL categories are activated I can see NONE of my tools which means I have to wade through 100's of tools, when I import my first set of operations it throws the first in the group up into the file/stock setup area.

That's odd. I do multiple ops ALL THE TIME with no issues other than speed. COuld it ever be fast enough???

Sounds like you need a more up to date computer...

 

Most of my parts are relatively simple, so speed isn't much of an issue. I would like finer resolution though. Small parts get kinda grainy.

Eric, If you want faster, change the moves per step and moves per refresh to a higher value. Or better yet, turn on Collision detection and press Fast Forward. Do you really need to physically watch every tool movement?

Colin, I always use fast forward for larger toolpaths. Some can still take 10 min or so.

 

Also, My computer is fairly up to date (much better then the recomended from CNC too)

 

This wasn't an official complaint, just an annoyance for me is all.
