Can anyone tell me an easy method to print out a simple tool list?

If you highlight and right click on your ops there is a setup sheet option that will do this for you

You could install the X+ sheet and output a tool list with that

There was a tool list chook that worked nice. I'm not sure what version it was for or what version you're using. Maybe someone else remembers. It was in German and then someone translated it to English.

I am using the x+ setup sheets but when I have a file that has 2 machines ie: horizontal and vertical operations in it it wants to print both machines tool lists at the same time which also makes it have tools with the same numbers. Is there a way to just print each one seprately that I can't seem to figure out?

You can also right mouse click in the tool manager and export tools to a report file.

Brain,

X+ will only give a setup sheet of selected toolpaths.

Try selecting only the toolpaths that you want to create a setup sheet for.

As for X+ printing a tool more than once this has always been like this.

It would be great if you could select the group and it only give the tool used once even if its used in more toolpaths.

The work around is to select toolpaths with in the group that use all your tools ONCE.

Thanks for the reply. However, in my case when i make a tool list it makes a list of all tools, it doesn't matter if the operations are highlighted or not. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my setup?

Brian I think you have to use the create setup sheet of selected operations option.

 

The tool list itself will print out ALL tools in the file

Yes I am using the X+ setup sheet, and I can print the selected "operations" fine. Its just the toolist that I don't like. Do you guys not combine different machine operations in the same file or do you use something else to print out your toolists?

Brian, for tool lists and setup sheets I use the In-House Solutions setup sheet.

Tlist only lists the selected op's tools.
