create letter problem

are you saying that when you create the letters,there are no arcs in the letters,even if you create the letter r for example.

yes , the letter r would show the straight vertical ,but not the arc on the uppeer rigght top

charlie, go to screen statistics and see what it says after creating the letters.also go to levels and make sure all are visible to see if the arcs are somewhere else like roger said

The "mcx BOX" font does contain lines and arcs. The font is based on mcx files which you can modify. The mcx files are located in:

 

C:mcamxcommonfontsBox

 

 

Make sure all your levels are "visible" via the levels manager, then do a screen statistics. Do you get any arcs now?

 

I'm not sure how but maybe the files in the directory listed above have been modified?

I just tried this with the text height set to .19 and did a letter "R", when I do screen statistics I get 5 lines and 1 arc all on the same level. Maybe you have a corrupted install or something.

the arcs were on a different level, don't understand how it happened, I have been using

lettering along and it worked fine, all of a sudden it didn't work,.....maybe hit some keys

accidentally.

Are you using EA mgr?

That will put stuff on different levels and colors......
