mr2 slower than mr1

Verify rendering for me in mr2 is nearly non usable, selecting and deselecting ops using surface geo lags forever.

Using Mr1 sp1

What are you using for a mouse driver?

 

If you're using a 3rd party, ie: logitech, microsoft you might try uninstalling the add-on driver and using the generic mouse driver that comes with windoze.

I'm involved in the maintenance and operation of

8 different computers running X2_MR2 and I've never seen this on any of them.

Is it a wireless mouse?? Are you using a mouse theme?? A screen saver running in the background??

Could be all sorts of things, but I don't think it is a Mastercam issue.

I don't see the lag issue people are complaining about either, but we're running pretty stout computers here (3.0 Xeons/4gig Ram/Quadro FX3450 video)

2 things that I always do no matter how hot my computer is...

Turn off the windows eyecandy

Set mouse themes to None

Both of these are huge drains on sytem resourses

and can cause strange behavior in any Cad system
