extending an arc

is there a way to extend an arc along its radius? for example, if i had an arc with a length of 5 inches and i wanted to extend one end point another half inch along the curve's radius, is there a command for that?

Trim/Extend

Open trim/enter your number in the number field in the middle and make sure the button next to it is depressed. then click on the end of your arc

line or spline.... a negative number will shorten it but that value.

If your depress the point key all the way to the right and the key with the arrow, it will breal the line, arc or spline and that length without deleteting the broken part

There is a box on the trim ribbon bar , near the center, where you can set +- the extension length.

Activate the icon and away you go.

Just use the trim/extend function and give it the lenght you want.
