Auto Coons

Hello-

I know that we can use net surfaces now in X2, but is there someway to get to making a coons surface using the auto chain option like in V9. I know you can use the CHook option for a coons surface with manual chain but have not found the option for auto chain. The net surface is good but sometime I think that in some cases the coons makes a better surface.

Not that I am aware of and it was a fight to get coons added back so seeing how you are the only one in the last 3 years asking for the auto option I would not hold my breathe looking for them to give and fix for it.

I have more than one customer that has asked for that back! I find myself using coons more than net surface, you just can't make complicated single surfaces without it.

i used coons alot but auto would never work right

Just went to another customers today that needs it for making thermoforms. No better or faster way than the auto coons option. Anyone else care to speak up? I'm sure there are many more out there.

I never liked auto chaining with coons. Manual chaining worked for me every time. Auto was hit or miss. It worked perfectly in the sample files, but not so much in real life files.
