Mouse scrolling in Vista/X3 MU1

Hey- No matter if I scroll forward or backwards mastercam zooms out. I tried removing intelipoint and using the default windows driver and still it didnt work.. Any thoughts?

You don't say what OS you have but I have the same problem on my Vista x64 installation but not on my XP 32 bit partition on the same pc. I'm using a MS wireless mouse but I also have a Logictec wireless notebook mouse which I use with Vista that doesn't have this problem.

I am using Vista x32, its in my subject line and signature, but did not have the problem with XP SP3...

 

Anybody found a workaround for this...?

Me too. I have WinXP x64 with a microsoft wireless mouse and I have lost all ability to scroll, even in other programs like cimco edit. I'm not running the intellipoint software, never needed too in the past.

The microsoft has worked flawlessly for almost 2 years, until MU1. I tried a Dell USB mouse and it works just fine, even while the wireless one is still connected.

All I have are two different Microsoft mice, they both do it. I broke my receiver for my revolution MX... I miss that mouse..

I had that same problem when I installed X3 when it first came out, but for the life of me I can't remember what I did to fix it!!! Try reinstalling the actual drivers to the mouse, do a google search and use the most current one.

 

Are you using the AI Utility Chook with the mouse zoom speed option? That may be your problem also.

Has anyone got a Logitech VX Nano to scroll in Mastercam or solidworks?

i had my mx revolution working in all mastercams. It worked great. I havent touched a vx nano tho...

Same.Brought a new Intellipoint 6 the other day

Scroll only zooms out wichever way you scroll!

Will work OK if you uninstall the 6.3 driver, but cant use extra buttons. So put in draw until later. This only happens in X3 MU1. Bill Gates and CNC dont seem to agree on this one!

Even if I uninstall the drivers it still doesnt work. Its driving me crazy. I wish I could get a reciever for my logitech..

I got mine to work this morning. i went and installed all the windows updates and one of these must have fixed the problem.

I'm running XP x64 but I'm not running the intellipoint drivers, I have never needed them.

I like the Inteli point drivers because I use the buttons on my mouse for (enter) and such. But either way this mouse wont work. The problem seems to not be limited to Mastercam from what Im reading online..

FINALLY, Logitech has the reciever in stock again! I just ordered one up and it should be her by the end of the week. YaY for Logitech
