Split Program

I added some toolpaths in the middle of my already toolpathed part and now when I post it splits my program into 2 different programs, and no matter what I do I can't combine them. Has anybody ran into this problem and if so can you help me fix it?

sounds like you have different NC file names.

Select all the toolpaths then right click and select: Edit Selected Operations > Change NC File Name

select ALL ops, right click, edit selected operations >> change nc file name

make sure the nc file names are the same.

rt click on folder

edit selected operations

change nc file name

try that.

Check the NC file name and or program name of the added toolpaths. They need to be the same as your previous toolpaths.

Yeah I see this all the time. I am sometimes programming a aprt over many days going back anf forth between several different jobs. Then for some reason no matter what it gets weird. It was have the same name and everything, but will post part of it to the same name then rewrite the 1st file then post the rest of it to the same file erasing the 1st and replacing it with the 2nd part. Had that happen the other day and they only got the finish paths of a tool path. Funny no seems to realize and they were taken 1" depths of cuts with 1/4 ball endmill in 15-5 breaking endmills. Funny someone will go through 20 endmills and then say maybe we have a problem here.
