Windows 7 and V9?

Has anyone tested the V9 product in the Windows 7 environment yet? I see they have a Virtual Windows XP program, but it does not say anything about pre XP programs. I am thinking since V9 works in XP this might be the tool that will allow V9 to work in Windows 7. Yes I know X4 is out, but we have customers we are looking to support when Windows 7 comes out that still might be using V9 and seeing if anyone has tried or tested it out.

Everything in MC9 worked fine in Window 7 when I tried it, I have since upgraded to X4 and that works better in Window 7 then in XP.

It won't run on my Windows 7, but I am using Windows 7 64 bit OS.

FP1 it never ran in 64 bit so doubt it will run in Win 7 64 bit thanks for checking though.

So, when hardware is not even available that will run it what happens then?

If I understand the sunset program, this time next year, when X5 comes out, V9 will be a dead, unsupported release. CNC Software won't support it, maybe Verisurf should concider the same approach???

A friend of mine runs a large OKK mill from a Pentium II Windows 95 and Mcam V8. It's the fastest computer in the place.

Thanks for the Replies. I am working on a dual boot system where I can run the XP for testing our XP products and then use the Windows 7 boot up for the testing in that environment. We can not control what customers are using and do our best to provide the best support we can.

Problem is that Verisurf only recently came out with a "X" version.....late last year if I recall.
