drafting symbols

I'm just starting to use symbols for my mastercam drawn prints. Although I don’t see allot of symbols that I need in the menu is there a way to get more, or am I just doing something wrong......

What kind of symbols? We have some GD&T fonts that are free that are true type fonts. If you are interested please email me and I will send them to you.

Ron,

Is this something that I could load file in the note dialog box. It would be all the standard GD&T Fonts. So it sounds like it would help. If I can figure out how to use it......

Well what you need to do in the note box is click on properties and then on the font change it to Verisurf MBD or Verisurf GD&T. This will then load those symbols into the symbols in the note dialog box. Now you just pick them like you would any symbol and you are good to go.

Unzip and put in your fonts folder inside of the windows directory. Any problems or questions please let me know.

Wow thats just what I was looking for.....

I'm not 100% sure but font should be unzip in the windows folder's fonts like if you were importing fonts for Words or Exel. Mastercam will look in this folder.

Is there a way to change the Font so it’s a single line, not double? If the symbol was a square it would insert two squares. Kinda hard to explain, but hopefully somebody understands. I'm using the verisurf GD & P font.
