Anyone have this issue?

I'm trying to edit a file from 2007, like clockwork during regen:

what version of MC?

I did all the time at previous employer it was X2Mr2 ........ only surfacing paths, Would crash all the time, I started creating tpath and not selecting geometry the regen one by one between crashes and save when it would do it without crash. I tried creating new temp folder and saving regen and temp files to it, I tried changing writing permissions, nothing worked. Not positive but did not notice it until XP SP3 though ........ ?

Just got the error agian on an X2 mr2 sp1 file

 

Ironically it only started happening to me

when I installed X4's MU1 update.

 

Widows must of had a security update that is

screwing everything up.

 

I don't know, now what to do.

Just started getting that same error today on X4 MU1. Been runnin' MU1 for a couple weeks now, and I haven't installed any MS updates. The file was created just this mornin'. Happens occasionally when I edit a HSM toolpath parameter.

I've had issues when I did file/open (with X4) on files created with previous versions of Mastercam. It was looking for the post in the folder that the .mcx file was in. When I did file/update from the Mastercam toolbar everything worked.

When I updated old files in X4 (no mu1) No crashes.

 

It ALL started to happen on brand new files created

in X4 Mu1. Then it just started to happen in

X3 and X2 files and existing x4 files that I open with X4 Mu1....and when doing E.c's using those

olders versions as well.

 

It spread like a disease once I installed X4 Mu1.
