status bar level number/name width

In the status bar, can I change the width of the box that contains the level number and name? So if I have Level:3 bottom side of bracket 23 slot removed...., can I change that box so I can see more of that name? Right now I can only see Level:3 bott. Which doesnt really help since I have about 30 levels that are all named bottom blah blah blah

You can torgle "Display level name" under Systerm Configuration, Screen. Mastercam will show your active level name on the sreen. HTH

This would be a fantastic feature. I too have this problem. I'd also like to be able to eliminate the unused cycles from the cycle selection dropdown in the drill menu. I don't use any of the custom drill programs, and I'd like to beautify my Mastercam.

You might be able to change this with a free program like Resource Hacker. I've been beautifying MC since V7.

I'm not sure what version you are running, but, have you tried holding the mouse over the field that contains the level number and name? This should show a data tip if the contents of the field are wider than it can hold.

Have you tried clicking on the "!" at the end of the status bar and dragging the level area wider??

That doesn't do anything.

The ! does let you reorder them though.

 

It also seems to be buggy on large size files,

As stated in numerous threads, as the file grows

and you have not done a random MC shutdown to fix

the lag issue, your mouse cursor disappears when hovering over it.

I see that this is an older post. My X6 still behaves like this. Has a fix/setting change/workaround been found yet?
