I do not remember where to download X+. I did searches and still do not see it. I must be blind on a Monday.

X+ puts the information in a excel sheet and I then I need to have the formula's to bring it in the template I would make? Is this how everybody is using it?

X+ saves the dialog settings in a *.xss file.

i.e. "MySheet.xss".

 

If you use the EXCEL format in those settings, it looks for a "MySheet.xlt" template in the X+ folder to create the setupsheet.

 

If you use HTML format in those settings, it includes a "MySheet.css" file in the HTML setupsheet. With css you can format the HTML output (font size, -color, line style etc.).

I must be to stupid to figure this out. I love how fast x+ works but I can not figure out how to get my own setup sheet that I designed to work. I will keep trying to get it but I do not have a lot of time on my hands to figure this out. If somebody could give a clue I would appreciate it.

There is one example called "format_sheet".

It uses an EXCEL template with vbscript included.

James, you have to be fairly proficient with excel (which i'm not) to really customize it to what you want. i'm looking into taking a class on excell but others on here may be able to help you tweak it.

I can send you a copy of my template that you can plagiarize my macro statements for any useful stuff.

That would be great if you could send me your templete. I started looking at the format sheet and the macros in it. I am starting to see how this all works but now I need to figure out how to change it to the look I want for my company. I have never done macro's before so I have some learning to do.

When I look at the macro's in the template that came with X+ everything is in another language. I am having a hard time figuring this out. I am going to enjoy learning this but I need help.

James get a copy of VB basics for Excel. It will help you understand how the formatting it working in this type of program a lot easier.

I put my template on the FTP under C-hooks folder.

File is X+Template_zoob.zip

Unzip and put in your mcamxchooksX+ folder.

I have not included my logo, so you will want to use yours.
