Help with this one. Newbie to the whole machine simulation, thought I would mess around with mach sim and I cant even get the edit button to ungray itself to create a new machine. Opened up well and the background looks nice, saved a new machine and put in the same folder with the same name like the instructions told me so. Still can't do diddly squat. Please tell me I'm a tard and I'm doing something wrong. Thanks.......

Here's a quick way to modify an existing Machine. Open the stl file and mirror the Machine component (xform stl)

See the attached file for a 3 Axis Machine with the Rotary 4th Axis on the right side of the Machine.

The MCX-5 file is a test file from one of our course exercises.

Install the folder into your Moduleworks\MachSim folder.

Thanks to Mike Whitten from the forum for performing the "Hack" and giving me permission to post it up.

The file is to large to attach so click on the Link to download

That's it!! B) i'll have to analyze the machine build, i also started mirroring the stl files but the rotary table still ended up on the left but i got the spindle pointing to the left. i was partially there at least. thank you Derek
