Slow Operation Manager Response Time on Right Click

Husker,

Could you please contact techsupport (at) mastercam.com for help with testing your NetHasp issues? There are some people in our Tech Support department that are way more knowledgeable than I am when dealing with NetHasp issues.

I do know that the NetHasp does not get checked every time you Right-Click in the Operations Manager.

We had some users that had serious lag issues like you are describing. Are you running X5 MU1? Also, how about graphics drivers? Are they up to date?

Colin and Sledgeek,

Well after a few weeks delay, which wasn't bad as I was down I worked back and forth with CNC and we were able to find the root cause of the problem. It was indeed related to the nethasp. I have my nethasp hooked up on my pc and was accessing it locally, not through a network port. So I generated a new nethasp.ini file and switch nhaspx.exe to network and the problem is solved, now the right click is down to approximately a half second delay which is normal from past experiences. Interesting that this is the issue, but I am glad that it is fixed.

I am having this right click problem. We just updated to X7 and net hasp. It is definitely related to the net hasp. I left one computer using X5 alone and only changed it net hasp. It started with the right click problem immediately. Maybe with the refresh of this issue somebody has figured it out. Thanks

Change your hasp settings to look for the hasp via network, and update your nethasp.ini file to look for your computers host name. This get the delay down to as minimal a time as you can have with a nethasp. It would be nice if CNC software would go to a different system with the nethasp setup, something more like solidworks, where you can check out a license which will return itself on a predefined date, you can then go offsite without the worry of your hasp getting stolen along with your laptop.... Or when you work with a nethasp normally, and can't get internet where you happen to be working, or where you might want to be working.

Best of luck.
