X6 Operation Defaults

Hello

 

Whene i click save to Operation Defaults in any HSC Toolpath the Operation.defaults-6 File is corupted and has to be replaced.

Will there be a fix for this in Mastercam X6 MU1?

Did you follow Jparis's instructions pinned to the top of this forum? I had the same problem when I used the migration utility, but his method cleared it up.

This is a known issue in the MM defaults, a fresh copy is needed.

 

Replace your Mill_MM.DEFAULTS with this one

i tried your mill_MM file, but the problem is still the same.

 

i had a backup copy of the original mill_MM.operations-6 in sharedmcamx6 already.

 

the same error occurs with mill_INCH.defaults-6

 

any other suggestions?

I'm getting the same problem. I have installed as jparis advised us.

There some people who want the releases as soon as possible.

 

This thread is prime example why patience is needed when waiting for software releases...

 

I personally never use an intial release in anger. I always wait for the first MU.

I miss the sp 1 days, enhancements and bug fixes should not be in the same update.

Well, seeing has how they've pulled the initial download, I'm guessing you'll be seeing an SP1 within days..

Hehe, yes you're right. It will be a .01 release in .00 clothing
