Fadal / Post help, O0000 to output O0001 ?

Hi guy's

Where is the switch to get my Format 2 Fadal post (Right out off the MC CD)

To output a O0001 all by itself instead of O0000 Which the controller red flags.

Also as Bonus,How can I get the misc Mumbo jumbo from outputting ?

I don't know about the O number, but the text output is easy

Just seach your post for "MCX FILE" and put a # in front of the line.

That turned the whole line into a comment instead of code that gets processes,

just like ( and ) does to gcode

Have you tried entering 1 in the program number field in the Ops Manager

The # worked

Putting a 1 in the ops or in the psof etc. didn't work.

If this is the ONLY thing you EVER want in that line... find this part of your post....

The last 2 lines you see there, the one with the # in the front is the original line, I copied it, pasted it directly below, commented out the original line, and changed sprogname$ to "0001", doing it like this lets you revert back to the original pretty easily.

You could alternatively use these two places to stablish the program# as 1, use the first when setup your machine group properties before any toolpath has been created; use the second when there is already toolpaths or you simply forgot to do it before hand.

I don't know why but changing the prog

To 1 in the ops didn't work for me.

I can always go back to my backed up post

And try it again

If I had to.
