HSM Performance Pack

Hi Claus,

Congratulations on the release of the HSM Performance Pack. The website looks fantastic. But, I can tell you the actual product is even more impressive.

Some of my customers have been using it for about a month now. They have roughed and finished in 55HRc. The toolpaths calculated quickly and provided an optimized cutter path. We have used tools as small as .5mm to finish.

Thanks for allowing us to participate in the beta testing!

Hi to all,

HSM System requirements

Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or 4 or Windows XP Service Pack 1

minimum 512Mb RAM (recommended 1024Mb)

minimum 512Mb paging file (recommended 1024Mb)

Mastercam version 9.1 or later

Mastercam SIM with milling level of 3 or more

It works on surfaces and solids

Evaluating Mastercam HSM Performance Pack

Yes, it is possible. Ask your local dealer.

Our beta tester are very content. They cut large parts (>30.000 surfaces) fast, sure and reliable.

I only can advise everybody: try it and send the data on the machine. Then you will see what HSM is.

Bute note:

The HSM Performance Pack is a packet to extend the existing Mastercam technology for High speed machining and cuting hard material. They do not replace it. Like an add on, you just can do more - you are more flexible.

regards

Andreas

It is very difficult to give numbers on how much difference there are in speed between Mastercam and our chook. But you could get a trial version and try for yourself on some of your tricky parts. I don't think you will be disappointed. Just call your local dealer or email us.

I live near State College and La Palma

and work near Ontario airport. I emailed Cad/Cam Consulting about the price on Monday, but they

hadn't heard about the chook yet. Arlene said she'd get back to me tomorrow.
