X7 Released - fools guide to migrate please?

Morning all,

As X7 is now formally released, I'm going to shortly install.

Is there a fools guide to update from X5 available?

Any no-no's (I'm asuming we can't drag and drop config files as previous)?

I used the migration utility without any hang-ups, seemed to work ok.

I think we'll wai ta bit before jumping on board with X7 till aclot of the bugs are worked out, like every other new version. were happy for now with X6 it does more than we know how to use it.

From reading all the other posts, it looks like create everything from scratch is the safe option.

When I have done this, I'm assuming I can copy/paste all custom files (tool lib/keymap/icons etc) except the main config file into relevant directories on other PC installs, ie as per X5/X4 ?

you'll want to run your tool libraries through Files/Update Folder
