x7 facing tool path verification error

i test x7 facing tool path and verify it and i have this error .how to get off that

On the Verify page click File/Options and switch it to the 5X verification engine

My simulation engine gets changed by itself, I do a 3-axis path and the engine updates; likewise for 5-axis. Works great, it does lag a bit to load the NCI data and Solid Model.

You need to manually edit the defaults file:

(This is documented in the Simulator help, Home > Mastercam Simulator > Setting default options)

If you create a manual entry before any of your toolpaths you can select this with the toolpaths you want to run and it will start up in 5ax engine every time. I say it is a bug like this but it works for me.

After actually looking at the xml file I see no Simulation Engine options. Hmm.

Maybe it's just a matter of editing the source code & recompiling the dll.

As of this moment, there's no way to force it to go into 5 axis mode from the XML or config. Look for that to be addressed in the future. I'm not sure if that's slated for an SP, or if it'll wait for the MU..
