Forcing a start point

I am doing a surface rough pocket program to rough a part, the tool wants to start farther away from the part than I want it to and on our smaller machines this is an issue because of travel limitations. I am trying to force a starting point so it stays closer to the part and cannot get it to work properly. I have a point created and have selected everything I can find about a start point and it will not work. any suggestions? And I am using MCX6 MU3

Yes It is set to plunge outside the containment boundary. I was taught to create the boundary to the size of my stock block to make sure we cut it all, and so it don't rapid down on any stock. Not sure if that's how everyone else does it or not. And I played with the settings in the Entry-ramp tab if that's where you are talking about the 1.5 times the Dia. outside the boundary.
