Speed up verify time for 2D High speed toolpaths

I have problem with my mastercam X6 when I need to view cut verify for 2D High speed toolpaths, it just take too long.

Sometime i had to wait 20-30 mins just to see the verify.

Is there any setting I need to change or how much for the moves/step and moves/refresh should I set.

Please give me tips for this issue, thank you very much.

If your mouse cursor is in the graphics area, that will slow verify by (guessing) 30%....

Move the cursor out of the graphics area and it should speed it up a bit.

Lowering the tolerance a little will help a lot especially if just looking for gross errors.

Going on from what Gcode mentions, are you gong into the Filtering settings and allowing G17/18/19 arcs? (If the CNC machine can do arcs in all three planes that is.) Allowing arcs is very important for 2D High Speed and most 3D Surface toolapths, otherwise the programs will be long and this has the side effect of slowing down Verify too. Maybe the only reason you might not want to do this is if you have a "high speed" CNC control that you've been told should be fed long programs full of small linear moves.

Guarantee you were getting a zillion line segments and not arcs. Make sure arcs in g17 is on. A huge tip is change color of arcs in backplot to orange or something else. That way at a glance you can see arcs or lines.
