Closed X6 file and X7 closed with it.

It happens to me all the time in X6. If I hit close and select a different instance of mastercam it will close the one I select as well. That was in XP just switched to Windows 7 last week so I'm not sure if it will still happen.

I upgraded a pc to MU2, so it had X6 and X7 MU2 on it. Both became completely intertwined. X7 was using some X6 files so I uninstalled X7 and that messed up X6. I ended up dumping everything from both X6 and X7 and starting over with just X7. Not sure if that was a one time glitch or maybe other people might be seeing it. I have several other computers here with both 6 and 7 on them and have not seen this issue except the one time.

Has anybody seen this behavior?

I have been doing it this way for years, is this a windows thing or

is X6 and X7 Tied together some how?

Lost 1/2hr worth of work in X7!!!!

Regards

Rick

Yes. This started to happen when I installed X7. If you have two session of X7 open, decide to close and save the first one and while saving go to the other window, they both will shut down. Of course the second session is not saved..
