Probe add-ons for Mastercam

We use probes a lot in our programs for horizontal machines and I am curious if anyone uses any probe add-ons for Mastercam to make the programming easier .

Yes, the Renishaw Productivity Plus module works great. However, I don't know if they have finally added support for Horizontal machines. From my last experience programming with it in X8, I believe it currently only supports Vertical programming, but hopefully someone from CNC will chime in and let us know when support for Horizontal machines will be available...

I've heard this is being worked on.

 

But it was also supposed to work in X6. So take it for what it's worth.

Thanks for the responses, We have been programming the probe using manual input statements in Mastercam for picking up offsets and checking if part is loaded or clamps in proper position. This kind  of probe programming takes time and is error prone since its all hand done. Just looking for software to help streamline process.

I know it's not an add-on, but do a search for probe posts. Ron and I made one that works extremely well on Horizontals.

I use it for our Makinos. Pretty post and play, including error traps and DPRINT

I need inspection plus. I tried hacking the Productivity Plus post up to no avail.
