Problems with 'config'

I have had a few problems since I did a complete install with the SP2 disk.

 

1)When I deleted several ops from Operation Manager, MC would completely lock up. No mouse or keyboard. This happened with two different files. I had to delete ops one at a time to complete task.

Were they by any chance extremely large Operations.

The MC file is 9.14M with 43 operations.

If you have a really large file and you need to strip all the operations out of it, its sometimes easier to just save all the geometry with

File/Save some

I have also found that you need ot delete soem then save file then delete some and so on and so on. G-codes ideas sounds like an easier way if you want soemthing that is fast and easy.

So you are saying that using "Toolpath"New" it still locks up?

 

I have not hade this trouble and this in cludes deleateing say a 100 ops at one time.

 

I am going to see if I can make it happen with some of my larger files that have a few hundred ops.

I did not want to delete every toolpath. That is why I could not us "toolpath => New" or "file => save some".

 

What I finally did (may have been overkill) was to delete 5 ops at a time. Then, "file => save", followed by "file => get". When I got down to the last 12 (keeping two), it locked again. Rebooted machine, and restarted MC. This happened twice. In the last effort, I deleted the last ten, one at a time.
