was it an SS model? I thought only the SS model has the roller cam drive for the rotaries. Regular ones are just Haas' flimsy worm drive. correct me if wrong.

Super Speed. They use 4:1 one ball screws to move everything faster.

From what I've learnt you'd only buy the SS if you wanted to do 5-Axis simultaneous.

The HAAS just looked light to me does anyone the UMC 750 weight?
