Machine goes to home instead of next tool path

Recommended Posts

Not sure why, I have checked force tool change is not checked. But I am randomly getting a return to home added into my code. If I am using the same tool for 2 drill cycles. When it transitions to the second set of holes, the code will randomly throw in a  G0G91G28Z0, no tool change code,. This is not consistent throughout my programs. Just sometimes decides to do this. Any ideas?

I do not see anything out of the normal. This is a standard mpmaster post modified.

I've seen weird things happen because of Misc Integer values being different between two operations with the same tool/feed/speed etc. I've even had rotary moves forced because of it. Maybe try selecting both operations and forcing their Misc Integers to be the same through editing common parameters.

Sorry, but I would have to have a .z2g of the offending file then and only then could I say with 100% certainty it is nothing your doing. Please don't take that offensively, but I have posted programs with 500 and 600 operations using Mpmaster posts and never seen what you are seeing without me doing something I missed to make it happen.
