What it means "SIM"

Hi guys, i would like knows what it means "SIM"

I knows that all Mastercam users have a SIM number, but i don´t knows what this mean.

My Mastercam is brazilian version, and where Mastercam show the SIM number, pressing ALT+V, it is written "Número de Série xxxxx-I HASP", but don´t say what it means SIM, in any place.

I don´t put my SIM number here because security reasons, but if someone administrator or moderator ask this for me, I will be very glad to provide.

Could be that too. SIMM (Memory) is Single Inline Memory Module.

Mastercam HELP:

 

SIM

Acronym for Software Interface Module;

sometimes called a dongle.

It connects to the parallel port and is required to run Mastercam.
