LATHE 2ND OP

I was wondering how to setup stock for the 2nd side of a lathe process. I want to use the "stock model" op, but, I cannot figure out how to setup the wcs because I cannot rotate the stock model shape. Why not use "stock flip"? Because stock flip does not work in MC4SW.

So, anyone have a trick?

You can make a solid that represents your stock on another level and create your stock model from that

Lathe in Solidworks doesn't have Stock preview were it makes your solids of the lathe part?

I never knew about this. I was running simulation and saving an STL. Even that is a burden. Change something on op one and you have to redo everything. I will check. Thanks!

I've been wanting to use MC4SW since it was first announced, but it's always been missing critical features which makes it a non-starter.

Trust me. You DO NOT want to use MC$SW. Nothing but problems. And, you are correct. Missing a LOT of features.

You better use both programs side by side, at the end you will save time and money

Been waiting for the MC4SW rep to get this running for a month now. We wanted it to replace camworks. Now, we are rethinking that decision. Many issues with it, and so far, we haven't even begun to start with the mill module yet.
