  1. Look at the top of your posts. If you look in the revision log you should see (IHS) or (CNC) at the end of every entry. IHS indicates MPMASTER, CNC indicates CNC Generic. Get the MP documentation, you seem very interested so getting this will help fire your enthusiasm and give you a reference, although it has a tendency to be a bit dry and arcane. That's why I would recommend Colin's class. More than anything else you will learn how to use the documentation effectively. Good luck!

  2. I've been using MC Wire for over 20 years on Mitsubishi Machines. I am currently using MC 2020 to program 3 Mits. machines, one of them being a new MV1200-R. I have no problem programming tapers. I don't quite understand what you are trying to accomplish and where your struggles lie.

  3. Rough Multi-surface pocket is indeed available...just tried it But if he's got a mold and a Mill 1, he's not likely going to get it done... Over the years, everyone I saw that bought Mill 2, saying they only cut the occasional surface, usually pretty quickly upgraded to Mill 3

  4. Precision Mathews has lathes that are said to be higher quality than the grizzly. A lot of the Chinese ones should be considered kits and be taken apart and cleaned up. You can find Atlas and Logan's for sale too. I ordered a grizzly for home but it was back ordered so I ended up finding an old Logan for 1/3 the price

  5. Go to your Lathe option, Make sure that you have your first side to one level, then when you are ready to flip to the second side have other level ready for your second side, been a while since I use mastercam. Now I use NX Siemens
