hello,
Is there a setting that keeps your geometry on the screen when changing views?
The problem is when I change views, using Gview my geometry moves off the screen, then I have to use the fit icon to bring the geometry back on screen.
I did look in the config. setting and tried a few changes, but nothing worked.
thanks
I've been learning TopSolid Missler Design and cam, 5 axis programming now for about 7 months and I find it powerful with a lot of control, in tool path creation and entry and retract reposition scenario's.
I've been using Mastercam for a few years now, and just started learning 5 axis programming a month ago
when we got in 2 510 Haas Routers with the 5 axis Tri-Tech heads.
So far so good...But I'm not sure if Mcam has those entry and retract reposition moves.
If you want to save some money, just go to ebay and get Dell Precision M90 Workstation Laptop WXGA Certified, some of them just off lease come with a 512 video card and are 64 bit
a sweet deal,,
for about $525.00

Eric,
A finishing toolpath.
Say in the case you have a odd shaped cavity with steep wall, and you want to maintain a smooth finish, the steep side of the cavity will not have as good of finish as the part of the cavity that not so steep.
thanks
Tony
